Warwickshire Society of Chartered Accountants Dinner

Bobby Gupta, the immediate past President of Warwickshire Society of Chartered
Accountants, would like to thank the partners and staff of Murphy Salisbury
for their help and support in his presidential year.

The Warwickshire Society of Chartered Accountants has over
1,300 members representing chartered accountants in commerce, industry
and practise, living in Warwickshire, and the annual dinner is the culmination
of the years events. Below are a few pictures of the evening’s festivities

Murphy Salisbury appoints Debbie Johnson

Warwickshire based Chartered Accountancy practice Murphy
Salisbury are pleased to announce the appointment of a new
manager, Debbie Johnson, to head up their audit and
corporate department.

Debbie has worked in the profession locally at a firm in
Leamington Spa for almost 13 years before joining Murphy
Salisbury. She will be working predominantly with the firms
audit clients and will also be involved in corporate
finance activities.

Murphy Salisbury is one of the leading independent
firms of Chartered Accountants in the South Midlands
and as a 4 partner firm employs almost 40 members of
staff from its office at 15 Warwick Road, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The strength of the firm lies in its ability to provide a personal
service of the highest quality at competitive rates over a
broad range of services including Audit and Accountancy,
Personal and Corporate Taxation, Trust and Estate Planning,
Corporate Finance, Payroll and General Business Advice
and Support.

Exam successes

We wish to congratulate the following on their exam successes:

Andrew Hall has qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Kristal Marshall has passed her ACCA papers P2 in Corporate Reporting
and P7 in Advanced Audit and Assurance.

Stuart Grosvenor has passed his ACCA paper P1 in Professional
Accountant.

New Staff

Business Services Department
Karl Goddard joined us in September 2007 and will be studying for his
AAT exams this year.

Samantha Keeble joined the firm in January 2008 and is currently
studying for her ACCA exams.

Audit Department
Stuart Grosvenor joined the firm in July 2007 and is currently studying
for his ACCA examinations.

Dodzi Attoh is ACCA qualified and joined us in January 2008.

Debbie Johnson has joined us as Audit Manager in February 2008. Debbie is
ACCA qualified.
