Accountant Gains Prestigious Professional Qualification

Warwickshire accountants Murphy Salisbury are celebrating the success of a colleague in achieving a prestigious professional qualification.

Kristal Marshall has passed her final exams and is now qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a leading accountancy body with 122,000 members and 325,000 students worldwide.

She joined Stratford-upon-Avon-based Murphy Salisbury in February 2002 after deciding that her interest in maths made accountancy a logical career choice.

Her role includes preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, carrying out tax computations and general bookkeeping and VAT work.

Kristal particularly enjoys accounts preparation and liaison with clients. She says: “Because we have such a range of clients, each set of accounts is very different and varied. The qualification process has been challenging but now I am looking forward to developing my skills further and to new opportunities.”

Paul Salisbury, partner at Murphy Salisbury, said: “We are delighted at Kristal’s success in achieving this highly regarded professional qualification."

“The training and development of our staff is an essential part of the way we do business at Murphy Salisbury, both to build our colleagues’ professional skills and to ensure we deliver the highest quality services to our clients."
