Tax Specialist Joins Team at Accountants Murphy Salisbury
Warwickshire accountants Murphy Salisbury have welcomed a tax specialist as the latest member of their team.
Roger Bowen, who joined the Stratford-upon-Avon practice as a tax consultant in September, switched from his original career in international banking to taxation around 12 years ago and has since worked for one of the UK’s top six accountancy firms as well as practices of a similar size to Murphy Salisbury.
He is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians, a Fellow of the Federation of Tax Advisers and holds the VAT Compliance Diploma of the Institute of Indirect Taxation.
In his role, Roger will be working with private clients on issues including inheritance tax, trusts and capital gains tax. He said: “I was attracted to working at Murphy Salisbury as the firm has a very good reputation and I have been made to feel very welcome. I am looking forward to settling into the role and developing the tax consultancy service for our clients.”
