£3,000 cash boost for charity thanks to Murphy Salisbury
A Stratford-upon-Avon accountancy firm, Murphy Salisbury helped swell charity coffers by making a £3,000 donation to The Stratford and District branch of the MS Society. Cathy Millwood, chair of the Stratford organisation was presented with the cheque, which was handed over by Murphy Salisbury partner, Steve Smith. The MS Society is one championed by the firm. Both Steve’s brother and a Murphy Salisbury employee, Janet Jackson, have the condition, so when the opportunity to make a charitable donation cropped up Steve says there was only one organisation he could have picked. |
