Murphy Salisbury on board for Stratford’s first River Festival
Stratford-Upon-Avon accountancy firm Murphy Salisbury is making a splash as the town prepares to pay homage to one of its greatest assets – the River Avon.
The company is sponsoring the first ever Stratford-upon-Avon River Festival, which takes place from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, and is celebration of the world-famous river that has played its part in making the town what it is today.
Over the weekend there will be a host of events and entertainment for all the family, boat races, kites, concerts on the water and, of course, a procession of boats descending on the town. Riverside picnics are recommended as families and visitors are encouraged to soak up the lively atmosphere.
Murphy Salisbury has a long history of supporting local clubs and events, and also sponsors Stratford-upon-Avon Boat Club’s annual summer regatta.
Paul Salisbury, partner at the firm, said: “We have been established in Stratford for 30 years and feel very much a part of the life of both the town and the wider Warwickshire community, through our work and connections with county businesses and other professional advisers.
