Accountants and Estate Agents become running partners for new Stratford race
Two Stratford firms have teamed up to give their backing to a brand new 10K race in the town.
Murphy Salisbury Chartered Accountants and Victoria Jeffs Estate Agents have put their hand in their pockets to get the new Stratford Big 10K – the first race of its kind to be held in Stratford – off the starting blocks.
The race takes place on Sunday (September 13) at 10.30am, and consists of a one lap course starting from Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse and ends near the bandstand on the Recreation Ground. It is being staged by local race organisers, Wedgnock Races, and is a potentially fast road race designed to be fun as well as challenging.
“Some people are taking part for charity and others just for fun, but it’s a really great way to get people and companies together and bonding in a slightly different way,” said Victoria Jeffs of Victoria Jeffs Estate Agents.
“It will be a chance for people to feel good about themselves. This year has been so stressful, especially for businesses, and an event like this is a fantastic way to forget about all that.”

“We are very pleased to be involved with this event right from the start. As far as we know there has never been a 10K race held in Stratford before this, so it is especially satisfying to be a part of this first event. We hope it is the first of many.”
